I used to want to be the strong independent woman too..
My name is Amy and I want you to be able to express your femininity and open up to a love that makes you feel safe, supported, cherished and alive.
I have made it my work in this world to support women in opening their hearts after experiencing trauma, shame, betrayal or abandonment in past relationships or in their family dynamics.
I myself used to be a woman that walked this earth, desiring a love full of depth and intimacy, but feeling so absolutely scared and terrified to open my heart. I had strong avoidant tendencies and took pride in my strong, independent behaviour. I was proud for not 'needing' or wanting a man and that I could do it all alone.
In other words, my feminine felt unsafe and abandoned and shut down. I was navigating life from the mind instead from the heart and sacral space.
I was attracting unavailable men all my life, it left me feeling frustrated and feeling unworthy of deep love. My longing for more was painful, thinking 'where is my man, where is the man that devotes to me as much as I do to him?'
Sex felt like a chore and I could not open into pleasure as much as I wanted to. The pain of my past relationships and the painful relationship with my father weighed too heavily in my heart and body. I kept on running, avoiding and diving into new relationships over and over again to avoid having to be vulnerable and sit with my emotions.
Until I said 'enough'. - and started to date and get intimate with myself. I gave myself everything I desired, I touched myself the way I wanted to be touched - instead of just hoping I would be 'saved' one day. I started loving my body, my feminine expression and took all the space I wanted. I continued to heal my relationship with the masculine; healing resentment, past pain, shame and any feeling of unsafety. All of this made space in my body and heart and allowed my feminine to lean back and be claimed by life and a conscious, mature man.
This is what I want for you. I desire every woman to feel this love and freedom within herself and in her relationship, which is created when we take responsibility for our desires and allow love to enter.
